The export document pack
Every UK car export needs the same core pack: V5C registration certificate, commercial / sale invoice, GB EORI, Bill of Lading, CDS EAD, marine insurance certificate and consignee KYC. The export process guide walks through the timeline.
V5C and DVLA notification
Original V5C with V5C/4 yellow slip removed and posted to the DVLA. Some destinations require a V561 — see the DVLA export rules.
Commercial invoice and EORI
A commercial invoice with vehicle description, VIN, sale value (CIF if container, FOB if RORO) and Incoterm. A GB EORI number is mandatory for the CDS declaration.
Bill of Lading and customs

Insurance and KYC
Marine insurance certificate (agreed value preferred), passport copy of the consignee, residence visa or business licence and any country-specific certificates (GCC, RIV, SEVS, EPA).
