The purpose-built Vehicle Storage Yard at Hamad Port has capacity for tens of thousands of units with modern access control, and is connected to Qatar's road network for rapid onward distribution to Doha dealerships and private importers. Container vehicle cargo is handled at the adjacent Container Terminal 1, one of the most automated facilities in the Gulf.

Qatar General Authority of Customs requires the vehicle to be registered with Qatari specifications compliance, and imports are subject to 5% customs duty. Used vehicles must generally be under 5 years old for import as private registered cars, with limited exceptions for classic or collector vehicles, so we recommend checking eligibility with us before booking.

Free storage at Hamad Port's Vehicle Storage Yard is typically 5–7 days, and given Qatar's used-vehicle age restrictions, we advise having all compliance paperwork and duty payment arranged in advance to avoid the vehicle being held pending age verification.
