Vehicles are discharged at the Autoport facility in Eastern Passage, a dedicated RORO terminal with rail-linked auto processing capacity handling both import and export vehicle traffic. Containerised vehicles move through the South End and Fairview Cove container terminals with onward CN rail service into Ontario and Quebec.

Customs & Clearance Notes
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) requires Form 1 (Vehicle Import Form), and a Registrar of Imported Vehicles (RIV) inspection is mandatory within 45 days for road-legal registration. Vehicles 15 years or older, or exempt classic categories, avoid Transport Canada federal safety standard compliance requirements. GST of 5% applies on entry, with provincial tax added at registration.
