Container terminal, Southampton
Vehicles loaded into 20ft and 40ft containers are delivered to the terminal in a booked gate-in window, then stacked for loading onto the nominated vessel.
UK collection by transporter
Open transporters cover most standard collections nationwide. Low-slung, classic and non-running vehicles travel on enclosed trailers with winch loading.
Ocean passage
RoRo sailings from Southampton and Tilbury run weekly to the Gulf, West Africa and the Mediterranean, with longer rotations to Australia and New Zealand.
Classic car preparation
Before loading we photograph every panel, record fuel level and mileage, and note existing marks. The condition report is issued to the customer the same day.
Lashing inside a container
Vehicles are chocked and strapped at the wheels, never the axles or bodywork, so suspension loading stays correct for the whole voyage.
Discharge and clearance
At the destination the vehicle is discharged, held in the terminal and released once customs clearance is complete — usually within three to seven days.
