How booking works
1. Confirm your quotation
We issue a fixed all-in price covering UK collection, terminal handling, ocean freight and export customs. Nothing is charged until you accept it in writing.
2. Reserve your sailing
A booking reference and vessel ETD are issued once your deposit is received. RORO sailings from Southampton and Sheerness run weekly; shared container consolidations close roughly 5 working days before loading.
3. Send your documents
We need the V5C, photo ID, proof of address and, where the vehicle is financed, a written release from the finance company. We file the HMRC export declaration and the NOVA/DVLA notification of permanent export for you.
4. Collection or drop-off
Enclosed or open transporter collection is available from any UK postcode, usually within 48-72 hours. You can also deliver the vehicle directly to the port on the agreed receiving day.
5. Sailing and tracking
You receive the bill of lading once the vessel departs, plus a tracking link. Typical transits: 12-16 days to the US East Coast, 18-22 days to Jebel Ali, 30-40 days to Australia.
6. Arrival and clearance
Our destination agents handle discharge, local customs and, where you have asked for it, final delivery to your door. Duty and local taxes are invoiced at cost with the official receipts attached.
