We do not publish testimonials on this page. Reviews that a company writes about itself are worth nothing, and in an industry where customers routinely transfer four-figure deposits to a firm they have never met, that matters. Instead, here is exactly how to verify us — or anyone else.
Four checks before you pay a deposit
Check the company, not the testimonial
Look up the company number at Companies House and confirm the trading address and filing history. A shipping agent with no registered entity behind it is the biggest single risk in this industry, whatever its website says.
Verify trade membership at source
BIFA and FIATA both publish member directories. Check the membership on the association's own site rather than trusting a logo in a website footer, which takes seconds to copy.
Read reviews on platforms that verify transactions
Independent platforms such as Google Business Profiles and Trustpilot show the full distribution of ratings and the company's replies. A page of glowing quotes hosted only on the company's own site proves nothing.
Ask for references on your exact route
Shipping the UK to Australia is a different operation from shipping to Ghana. Ask whether the forwarder moves vehicles on your route weekly, which carriers it books, and who clears the vehicle at the far end.
